Two Hives Honey

A previous grant recipient in 2015, Two Hives Honey harvests all-natural, raw, and unfiltered honey from micro-apiaries scattered across the Austin area. Each batch has a unique flavor profile that reflects the terroir of the neighborhoods in which it is produced.
Grant funding will allow Two Hives Honey to take local to a new level by creating a unique mobile honey harvest vehicle that allows beekeepers to extract honey onsite and return the boxes to the bees immediately. By increasing harvest efficiency, Two Hives will be able to devote more time to service projects, including free classes and workshops and educational opportunities at local schools.
