$5,000 Tito's Handmade Vodka Entrepreneur Grant
The first woman-owned, Texan freshly milled flour and mix company, Mill + Refill in San Marcos is dedicated to reviving the lost art of flour milling. Soon, owner/entrepreneur Maren Maddry will expand into education, teaching adolescents flour milling and heritage baking techniques. She hopes to give students a deeper respect for food systems and their nutritional needs.
Grant funds will support her teaching program and go towards purchasing a stone mill that will allow Mill + Refill to scale its business significantly.
