Led by owners Harshit Gupta and Elliott Curelop, Madhu Chocolate’s distinctive sweets translate the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine into innovative craft chocolate through the use of spices, nuts, flowers, and fruits. Each artisan bar is made with ethically sourced single-origin cocoa in a sustainable facility using 100-percent wind energy as part of the company’s commitment to ecological and transparent practices.
Grant funding will allow Madhu to purchase equipment such as a tempering machine, small holding tanks, or a winnower to separate the husk from the cacao — thus allowing the company to increase production, collaborate further with local businesses, and expand distribution across Texas.
