Founded by Shane and Alison Heinemeier, Habitable Spaces is a groundbreaking arts and agricultural project creating a mutually beneficial environment where artists and the rural community can take classes, learn, and share ideas. Through its Full Moon Dinner series, the nonprofit facilitates community connection through intimate conversations about farming and food.
Grant funds will help purchase a walk-in cooler and other equipment to outfit a commercial kitchen. The infrastructure will allow the organization to better provide to the greater San Antonio area and sell locally produced meats, cheeses, and bread.
