Foodways Texas
AFWA Grant: $7,500
With a mission to preserve, promote, and celebrate the diverse food cultures of our state, the nonprofit Foodways Texas' is documenting the rich history and insights of pioneers of the modern Central Texas wine industry.
The project is urgent and allows the community and business people to teach the next generation of innovators. The materials collected during this critical project will be archived in the Briscoe Center for American History at The University of Texas at Austin.
