Under the direction of health coach Palak Sadarangani and pharmacist Kristin Simpson, the Cultured Carrot makes traditionally crafted fermented vegetable dressings from organic produce and pure avocado oil. The first company of its kind in Central Texas, it aims to incorporate nutritious prebiotic and probiotic foods into busy daily lifestyles.
As part of a holistic approach to the Central Texas community’s wellbeing, it supports The Refugee Ranch, an Austin residential rehabilitation center for youth recovering from sex traffickers. Alliance funding will help this woman- and Asian-American-owned venture fund new equipment necessary for increased capacity.
