Community Vegan co-owners Marlon Rison and Ericka Dotson enrich their neighborhood through their food truck in East Austin. The eatery commits to increasing food access to communities of color and neighbors experiencing homelessness by providing vegan comfort fare.
A previous grant winner, Community Vegan will amplify its mission of providing vegan fare without sacrificing taste and use grant funds for building upgrades at Lott & Rison, the couple’s first brick-and-mortar restaurant, which will focus on plant-based barbecue and creating a community gathering place.
